Neighbourhood ‘Living Rooms’ on the move

ByBuilding Resilient Neighbourhoods August 13, 2013April 25, 2024

The Building Resilient Neighbourhoods project has been out in the community this summer setting up neighbourhood “living rooms” and chatting with residents about opportunities to connect with their neighbours and make Vic West more vibrant and resilient. Neighbourhood living room sets are popping up in public spaces and public events such as Banfield Park and Gorge Swim Fest to give people the chance to learn more about the project and to share their perspectives on how resilient Vic West is as a neighbourhood.

Stop by one of the upcoming neighbourhood living rooms:

  • Saturday August 17th, 11am-2pm, Café Fantastico (Dockside Green
    102-398 Harbor Rd)
  • Sunday September 15th, Vic West Corn Roast, 12-4pm

Vic West residents are sharing valuable insights and getting entered to win gift certificates to some of our favourite local establishments!

If you can’t make it in person, you can still share your ideas by filling out the online questionnaire!

(NOTE SURVEY NOW ENDED)

$100 Gift Certificate for meals-to-go from to the Apple Box

 $40 Gift Certificate to Spinnakers

$40 Gift Certificate programs at the Vic West Community Centre
